The size is pretty big, I personally use it to have my lunch in it.
Works fine with the microwave if you not use for cooking.
Though the glass get hot, price is also good.

When I bought the first set I though, well this is it – the best serving bowl. I soon ordered for two more. But then one day I tried to warm up my curry in microwave, one cracked. I thought this might be one off incident. But then one bowl from each set cracked at slightest heating (in microwave). One bowl cracked when I put hot daal intending to serve the food. Currently I am using them as salad/cold item serving bowls.
So beware – these are good serving bowls as long as you handle them carefully. I have given picture of one of the cracked bowls.
