Bought this for a patient group sensitive to herbicides. We’ve been using Indian poha with wonderful results. We test every bag for herbicides and also try to destroy the toxicants. Poha has no iron, and that is key to health. I can send you research links — this is also in today’s Epoch Times exclusive story, buried in the study. I also got an email recently saying that India just banned a herbicide for agriculture. Anyway, as we have on video and photos, your rice has very high levels of herbicides inside. Outside the rice, very little herbicides were indicated. That’s it in a nutshell for now. The tech team planning to run further tests with two or three instruments, but since its unusable, there is no rush for us to do this. For our patient group, herbicide contamination is a life-threatening situation, due to multiple health problems that are held at bay mainly with a very strict food regimen that is — coincidetally — mirroring Sally Fallon’s “Nourishing Traditions” best-seller, based on Dr. Weston A. Price’s ground-breaking research.

This is the best Brown rice by far that I have found on India Amazon. Very good unpolished, real Brown Sonamasuri rice. This is a complex carb whole food packed with fibre, protein (yes – clean plant based protein!), vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. This is very bio-available (easily digested and the nutrients are absorbed by the body) and for me, the effects of consuming this are clearly visible within a few days (feeling of greatly increased strength, energy and muscle mass). Amazing super food.
I was actually looking for long grain Brown Basmati rice as that has the best glycemic index (low) but could not find a good one in the market. The popular brands are not good quality anymore. This Brown Sonamasuri rice is a close compromise from Basmati and is much better than the so called ‘Brown Basmati’ from other brands that I tried.
However, food is digested differently in different people – so you may want to try a smaller pack first to see if it suits you and whether you like it. For me, this is my favorite Brown rice that I found in India (ofcourse I looked only on Amazon and local retail stores and did not explore direct small farmers which would have been ideal).

Cheap low quality brown rice , firstly this looks like 40-50 Rs per kg rice .
And after seeing the product its totally waste of money on this one.
If you seriously want to order brown rice donot buy this instead buy Oreal brown rice , india gate brown rice with long grain not the sona masuri version.
I am having experience of wholesale and retail of 20 years operating grocery and kirana store that’s why this product is a big no for real brown rice buyers
Sona masuri is also the broken rice which is cheaper.

24 mantra have a lot of quality goods. To know the result one needs use it for atleast 30 days monitoring weight. The rice tastes good. But health and weight benefits vary according to personal diet habits.
