Since it has charcoal inside, make sure you dont hang it somewhere in the car. When you touch little bit of charcoal can be seen on the hands/fingers.
I took a used Vim bar case (green one), removed the lid and kept this packet in it and then under my seat. This will avoid any charcoal spill in the floor or somewhere.
I usually dont get too much odour in the car as I keep it very clean, and I dont want to use perfume as I dont like strong odours. I am using Philips Air Purifiers at home, they have active charcoal. They work extremely well in pulling out odours. So, I am sure this one will work too.
