I purchased this cooker in oct 18. This prestige cooker started giving trouble from next month and there was no pressure building up in the cooker and entire steam was coming out from valve. They give you warranty of 5 years unfortunately this product does not last for 1 month also so please never ever waste your money on this prestige product. Even i tried to complain about this product on their call centre 5 times unfortunately there is nobody to help you and you have to spend money of your own for repairs in just one month of purchase.

As far I know it is the safest pressure cooker, as the lid cant escape as it is completely embedded inside when you lock it. Previously we used to have normal pressure cooker which has got locking mechanism by rotation as most of us but one due to pressure the lid got popped up around height of attic and almost it could have hit my mom,, so people take care of our parents by choosing right things and replace them correctly
