The rice although fully cooked remains slightly wet once cooking process is complete. Reducing the water added initially does not help. Further since the power trips automatically post cooking the post cooking heating or retaining the heat for some more time post cooking which was earlier called KEEPING WARM is not there. Consequently, the balance moisture remains in pot. Added disadvantage is the fact that during winters the rice would cool down very quickly in absence of KEEPING WARM feature in north India which means rice has to be consumed immediately once ready eliminating the flexibility of advance cooking.
