The maker claims it is stainless steel but the lower part of the pan got rusted in just about 6 months. Not worth buying.

First time used the Vinod stainless steel Idli maker & the output was good. The quality of the idli maker seems to be good & is value for money.

The product is good quality and works well. However, the whistle provided on the lid is not useful for Idlis. We tried making idlis with whistle. They were relatively heavy and not fluffy enough. When we removed the whistle, the idlis came out as expected, light and fluffy.
A good product if used with this insight.

Tried a few other brands available online here in the UK before buying this. Vinod idli maker seems to be of far better quality than the others. However, the idlis it make are quite small and also the whistle noise is too high if the vessel is fully tightened.

The plates inside are of very poor quality and the stand is tilted. Also the depth of the plates is too shallow to make a good idli . Iβm planning to either return or get an exchange for a good one
