Difficult to clean. High price.

We have been using this square pan for about a month now. So far very satisfied.
– Well seasoned.
– Well made
– Well heat distribution (used on gas stove)
– Little on the heavier side
– Made with good quality cast iron
– Removable handle
You have to make sure, after washing, dry with a dry cloth/kitchen tissue and just take a tablespoon of oil and leave a thin layer, on it to keep it like new.
We are enjoying our skillet BBQ dinners 🙂

The product is indeed made of proper cast Iron. Food does not stick that much and the handle is a good thing to have. Cast Iron pans get really hot, so the handle is really helpful
But
✘ Cleaning this is not easy. I tried to get rid of the stuck food in the grill sections and ended up taking the initial seasoning out. Did not use any harsh detergent.
✘ Now unable to get that blackish look. Tried a lot of seasoning methods, but none worked.
Usability wise, the grill pan is still ok. However, I am not sure how to fix the black coating like thing that it came with.

Once it is seasoned with oil it works very well as a non stick pan. The ribbed brown lines that are created while grilling add to the appeal of the food.

Really good product for cooking tandoori. Only thing is that we ordered round but got square.
