The cast iron cookware is of good quality.. The food gets cooked very nicely especially the fish fry. The problem with this grill pan is oil goes to the bottom and it is not able to reach the food because of the grill lines. It would have been better and easier if it was plain.

The wt. of the pan is good. Its required to retain the heat to grill. Enjoyed a steak. The steak tasted & looked good.

The build quality is good.
The black coating on it comes off during cooking.
I think it’s harmful.
I tried to remove the coating with fine Emery paper. But it was difficult.
I request the manufacturer, not to apply any such coating, which comes off during cooking.
Also, it is difficult to clean the groves inside the pan .

Was sceptical after reading reviews on Indus valley pans with handles breaking during delivery or in few weeks of usage.. This model from Bhagya is sturdy and neatly packed and delivered. Was pre- seasoned, but still since we need to cook food in it, gently washed it and reseasoned it as per instructions.. made a grilled paneer sandwich.. it dint stick to the pan.. the ridges give a nice grilled design to the paneer and bread. Manageable weight. Happy with the purchase. Will use more and update review.

A very good buy. The grill is thick and heavy hence the heat is retained well and food cooks evenly, without burning. Also food does not stick as it is seasoned.
I use it to grill meat and vegetables, they come out well with visible grill marks
