Durability is good for years, just don’t use too much pressure. Clean it time to time. Easy to handle.

I’m editing my previous review because there’s no option to write a new one. I recently got my third Scotch-Brite spin mop, on 3rd Oct’ 24, and couldn’t help but laugh at myself. I was set on getting the green mop to match my bucket, thinking the last one was defective by chance. But this one is just as bad. The handle attached to the base is so tight that I’m afraid it’ll break if I try to move it. If Scotch-Brite wants to close shop, they should, but why ruin their reputation before that?
I sincerely hope the company takes this feedback seriously, as this purchase has left me extremely dissatisfied.
I bought my second spin mop on May 5, 2024, hoping for the same good quality, but it squeaks loudly and spins tightly. I even tried oiling it, but nothing worked. I saw the same problem mentioned and posted as a video by someone else too.
I hope the company sees this and fixes the issue because I’m really disappointed. I purchased the Scotch-Brite Plastic Spin Mop for the second time on May 5, 2024, expecting the same reliable quality as before. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this recent purchase. The mop makes a weird squeaking sound when I spin it in the bucket, and it feels unusually tight during use. I even tried oiling the mechanism to smooth it out and reduce the noise, but it didn’t help at all.
I was initially impressed with this product, but the quality seems to have deteriorated. It’s frustrating that a product I once trusted has now become a hassle to use. I hope the company takes note of this issue, as I’m not satisfied with my purchase this time around.

I bought this mop from Scotch Brite because I was frustrated with the Prestige ones, many of which now seem to be fake copies. Although this one is a bit pricey, it’s been working well after several months of use.
Pros:
1) The spin mechanism is effective; it dries quickly after just two spins.
2) The mopping material is decent and gets the job done, although it mops in patches due to the design.
3) It’s very easy to assemble.
4) You can buy just the mop stick alone if you already have a mop tub.
Cons:
1) The mop’s thread material is quite delicate. After the first wash, at least three strands came out, and a few more falls off with each use. And will continue for sure, I know.
Overall, I’m still using it. It’s average but functional for daily use.
