The pickle is very delicious. The spicy and tangy flavour makes it delicious to eat with roti. The pickle is neither too spicy, nor too tangy, which makes it tasty to eat and feels just like homemade pickle

I used to be a repeat customer of this “Jha ji” Achaar. But “Mithila Ki Kasam” these people have drastically reduced their quality.
What started as a “Great tasting homemade Bihari achar” has reduced to “Becho Becho.. kuch bhi Becho achaar”.
Now I tell you the reason, why you should not buy this achaar –
1. This is simply made and immediately sent to your home which means the Achaar do not go through the natural process of Sun drying and processing them regularly till they are ready to eat. I think to match up the growing demand they are simply bypassing the main process of making achar and take us as a fool that we will eat any garbage which this family will send us.
2. The quality of oil used is not good. Gives an unnatural smell to the product.
3. I went through many other reviews also and the people are rightly complaining about their stomach getting upset after eating this product.
4. If you are from south India including Maharashtra , then this is no brainer that you should not buy this product as this is made in local Mustard oil. Neither the quality nor the taste will suit your taste buds.
5. The price is comparatively very high, for 250 gms they charge 300 rs which is too much. The product claims that is made from the local mangoes, Malda and Kalkatiya, both are ordinarily sold in wholesale market around Rs. 80-100 max per kg . And these cheaters are charging 1200 per kg after tossing the mangoes with Random Spices packed in a 20 rs Jar. Many other Brands are quite reasonably placed both in price and taste components.
6. The overall smell of the product is also pathetic and from no corner it looks like Home Made achaar as claimed by the Owners.
7. Not only the mangoes are poor in taste but the pieces of achaar is also very hard ,It is totally green, as if after getting plucked from tree, immediately achaar was made and sent to the customers , all happening within a a week. you need a knife to cut a part of it to eat, as it has not gone through the natural achaar making and softening process. Simply spices are mixed with raw cut mangoes and put in the jar for immediate sell.
8. They foolishly claim that there is “No preservatives”. Dear Bihari babuni , you should know that in Home made Achaar there can never be Preservatives. I doubt any of us would say that our parents or other family members ever used preservative when the Achaar was made in our home. It is simply oil ,spices , SUN and Time, who does all the magic.
9. On the contrary if there are no preservatives it should be much cheaper reducing the preservatives cost. A 500 gm achaar should not cost more than 250/-.
10. I also came to know that in Bihar , it is normally the other variety of mango called “SUKUL MANGO” , which is used basically for making Achaar but these Babuaa and Babunis use Malda variety of Mango which no one uses for making mangoes . It’s like Using Alphonsoe or Langda Aam for making Achaar. I wonder how these people were able to befool Shark Tank people.
They are the real Sharks now who are swallowing shamelessly peoples money and sending Garbage in the market under the pretext of “Home made Achaar .
In short, a big no-no to this product. If you go through the other Amazon reviews, you will find that even the Bihari people are calling it fake when it is claimed to be a product of Bihar, so people from any other part of the country can simply ignore it. You will be not only spoiling your money but also your mood and taste. Forget about health.
It is simply hurriedly made garbage sent to customers who get befooled from their advertisement gimmick. लालच बुरी बला है. Wake up. Get well soon.
