Doesn’t leave black stains on aluminium vessels like finish/fortune detergents.
We used fortune and finish detergents before and were disappointed using a dishwasher as aluminium vessels like cookers always ended up with stains and the copper coatings of few vessels ended up on other steel vessels like burnt marks. Someone suggested using this detergent and it worked. Not very sure if the copper stain issue is gone but we certainly see the difference in aluminium vessels. Satisfied.
Also, there is Infact a pinhole in the seal. But it’s not a year. It looks like it is deliberate. One review here explains that it happens when aluminium contact with food/metal it develops holes. It may not explain this, as the cap is made of plastic and also there is just one pinhole in all boxes in identical position.
For those of you who see stains in your vessels, may want to use a little less detergents. Also, we’ve noticed that rinse aid is less effective on plastic. So please check of the racks above had plastic vessels where the detergents may stick and then fall on other vessels during drying cycles. It may not really be the case but no harm checking.

I have used IFB dishwasher detergent for many years. Recently (after lockdown), the quality of detergent has come down drastically. The powder has become extremely fine and I see detergent residue on my dishes which I never saw earlier. I see only 2 possible reasons for this – IFB has gone mad and destroyed their name by giving such pathetic quality or Cloudtail has cheated me by giving fake detergent.
