- How to use: Apply 3-6 layers of Aeroplane Brand Tung Oil on a raw wood using a cloth or a brush. Wipe off any excess with a cloth, and let it dry for 2-5 days. Sanding between is layers is recommended for a smooth finish. (150 – 240)

Great finishing oil, makes hardwood grain pop so much and doesn’t colour the wood either.. I’d say it’s even better than Danish oil which tends to have a yellowish tinge to it.
The only downside is that each coat takes quite a long time to dry and therefore there is a considerable amount of waiting time in between coats.. i finished my teak furniture with this oil with about 8 coats with 2 days of drying time between each coat, and mild sanding with 1000 grit paper to remove any dust nibs. If you have the time and patience and want your project to look as natural as possible with a nice warm glow and natural tactile feel to it then just go for it!
