Using it for my AC to schedule the On Off. The Plug is working fine but the Qubo mobile Application needs development. sometimes the Schedule timer is not working and need to reconnect the device to app.
Wifi is always needed without which the Timer will not work

I bought this unit for 2 reasons..
Reason 1- I am in Kerala where electricity charges are very high. I had a suspicion that my home inverter was consuming excess power. I used to have an Meco Energy Meter. But that probably lasted 6 months and was giving erroneous reading anyway. So had to buy another energy consumption measuring device.
This thing turned out to be perfect. I got the 16 amp one. Gave me both instantaneous and daily readings. Would have preferred an hourly read out as well. Anyway it turns out my inverter idle power consumption is quite low. No issues. I have this now measuring my two-door fridge. See picture. About 3 units a day. Not bad for a large fridge.
Pretty easy to connect to the Qubo common app, either through Bluetooth or WiFi. You can turn the plug on or off through the app.
Reason 2- I plan to buy a hybrid inverter with battery pack and charge it through solar instead of line power. Then I can use the Qubo app and set a timer to turn off the plug in the evening hours when battery is fully charged. This way inverter will now supply power from battery. See attached picture. That should help save 50% of my power bills. I hope this should work as advertised for this trick.
