Prompt and fast delivery. Product came as described. Looks sturdy and within few minutes downloaded app and connected to my home devices. No issues. Only thing is the app could be updated with additional information like status of on and off on the opening page itself.

I made a mistake by not verifying the product with in the refund period, but when I try to use the plugs I found 2 of the are already heavily used and not in working condition

I am writing this review after more than one year. I bought one device first, then eventually bought about 9-10 x 6A and 3 x 16A Devices. I bought all of these thinking they would work like our switches at home work… for years to come.
More than automation I wanted to use them for reading my usage. So each device was connected to different equipments in my house, for e.g. Bedroom Geyser, Washing Machine, Home Internet Router, My Home PC, etc. In fact, I never used the timer feature as I had no utility for it.
They worked fine, till they were working. Wifi Worked fine, Electricity Measurements worked fine, they switched on/off perfectly, Alexa conneted fine, everthing.
However, the devices started going bad after about 11 months of regular use, and regular use did not even mean switching on/off regularly except for the geyser/washing machine plugs. All others were switched on and they were just switched on forever!
Now after about one and half year or so, I have a bunch of plugs which are non working! There could be one or two plugs which would be bad, but nearly all of them !
My suggestion to buyers, dont expect that these will keep working for more than a year or two. So only buy only for a particular plug/reason which you want to achieve and dont expect them to work for more than 1 at max 2 years. I still have about 2 x 16A working, almost all others are down and out.

Worth buying if you want to automate some plug and appliance and mainly you can monitor the energy you are consuming out of that plug. Its use for that part is good.

First Understand 2 words “LAN (wifi on but without internet supply)” and “WAN (wifi on with internet supply).
Device is so smart in WAN.
As soon as you loose internet connection with the device, it becomes semi smart.
This device can be used in LAN also but with limited features, i.e. countdown and on/off from the mobile app but the catch is you have to be connected with the same wifi which is connected with the device and so you can’t control it far from your wifi’s range. One thing troubles me in LAN is – schedule stops working completely. Even you can’t re-enter any new schedule timing in LAN.
Entries for schedule are only accepted by device when there is internet connection.
When you are out of city and internet is gone then schedule will not work, it becomes super dumb here because it will not execute schedule timings you entered before.
However if you had turned on notification while schedule time setting – then you will be notified that device was unable to execute, but thats all.. you can’t do anything to make it work as per schedule.
If schedule is so important for you then buy SONOFF Basic switch (this is not a plug, you have to work with wires to set this device – though its not tough, but incase you dont want to do it by ur self then call an electrician he will do it within 5 minutes ). In this device schedule works even after no internet supply. Because it remembers schedule. But if you had lost internet and then any single power drop after internet loss then the device forgets schedule and becomes super dumb till internet is back. If power drop is rare at your place then SONOFF does the job.
