Great product, very useful in monitoring power usage for heavy appliances. Only downside is that it works only on 2.4GHz network. Rest all is good.

The Wipro 10A Smart Plug initially seemed like a great addition to my smart home setup. Its ease of use and seamless integration with voice assistants made it an appealing choice. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived as both of the plugs I purchased stopped working after just a year of use, leaving me disappointed.
While the smart plug functioned well during its initial months, the fact that there is no warranty support after a year is disheartening. It’s essential to consider this limitation before investing in multiple units or relying heavily on these plugs for long-term use.
In terms of functionality, the Wipro 10A Smart Plug provided convenient remote control of connected devices through the dedicated smartphone app. Its compatibility with voice assistants allowed for voice commands and added convenience. However, I did encounter occasional connectivity issues, where the plug would disconnect from the network and require manual intervention to reconnect.
The build quality of the smart plug is satisfactory, with a compact design that doesn’t obstruct neighbouring sockets. However, it’s worth noting that the plugs can feel slightly flimsy, and the overall durability may be a concern, especially considering the limited warranty period.
Despite these setbacks, I appreciate the affordability of the Wipro 10A Smart Plug and the convenience it offers when it functions correctly. However, the lack of long-term reliability and the absence of warranty support after a year’s use are significant drawbacks that potential buyers should be aware of.
In conclusion, while the Wipro 10A Smart Plug initially provides a convenient and seamless smart home experience, the short lifespan and the absence of warranty support after a year make it a questionable choice for long-term use. If you’re willing to take the risk and can accept the limitations, it may still serve as a budget-friendly option for basic smart home automation needs. However, for those seeking more reliability and peace of mind, exploring other options with longer warranty coverage is advisable.

Very helpful to auto turn on my motor on certain times of the day, earlier used it with a geyser too. But the problem is that it stopped working after only 2 years

Took this smart plug to Operate my Panasonic air-condition. My Panasonic ac is wifi enabled and that can be switch on n off and with full other controls from any part of the world, only your ac has to be kept on and linked with wifi round the clock. Because of this i took this wifi enabled smart plug, and thus i dont need to put electric always to the ac. Now when i need to on my ac from outside, i can first put power to the ac by using this smart plug and then switch on the ac. Hence, only plug is getting electric round the clock without keeping the costly machine exposed to electricity always. This is the great benefit of using such a smart plug.
But one small issue is, when i am outside and use Wipro smart plug by the Wipro software in my phone, here lies a pretty lag to get the feedback whether it actually turned on or not. When i switch on it from outside, the app does not show the on light (in the app) instantly. It takes much seconds to send the information to its server and thus keeping me confused whether it’s on or not and same thing happens at the time switching it off. But this happens only when i am operating from outside.however when i am in my home and both the app and the plug in same wifi connection, then it’s pretty fast.
Installation is very easy and simple.
Wifi catching power is also very nice. My wifi router is about
22 feet away from the plug, and there is a 10inch wall between the 2 rooms
I am satisfied
Material is very sturdy and overall build quality is good.
Did not use with Alexa.
Now it’s only to check the durability and longevity which time will prove.
