I liked the product as I have expected. Before purchase.

When I saw the product first time in amazon I felt it would be good but when I tried to look for review and ratings, there was not even a single rating or review available. So I went with my gut feelings and took a risk and ordered the item. Now below are my reviews about the purchase.

Pros:
1. Delivery was on time
2. Packaging was good and safe.
3. Color was slidely varied from picture but it’s expected, still the color is impressive. Wood is pure sheesham and a good quality.
4.all together it looks so beautiful in my living room.

Cons:
1. There were few minor issues which I noticed post delivery while setting up the table.

a) There was a slide damage in one corner of the table which might happen during transit.
b) One leg of a chair was disbalanced.

c) One chair was wobbly because of loose fitting.

Solution: I contacted the seller and mention the issues and promptly the seller responded saying if I call a carpenter and get the issue fixed, they will pay me the cost providing it’s within their budget. Next day I got it fixed and I informed the seller. They have credited the amount on the same day.

Over all I was very happy with seller’s response and the product. I would highly recommend the product for the price I got (24K).

The product in itself was very very good. The Sheesham Wood was very sturdy, the shine on the product fantastic. very easy to assemble and very durable product. However, there was a Crack along the entire length of the table top, clearly visible, not a minor damage to live with but something that would crack the table for sure, especially if it were involved in shifting and so on, so it was decided to be returned. Hence the 1 star removed for that. What follows next should remove all stars but still the product is good – hence preserving the 4 stars. Rest of the info is for General Public Knowledge about:

1. Ordering from Companies that have their own Delivery/Supply lines and do NOT use Amazon’s Delivery Services
2. Furniture Installation/Un-installation is done by 3rd Party Vendors leased by Amazon, not Amazon’s own team
3. Process of Refund when opting for EMI

While small products do not face problems, this dining table + 6 chairs that came in 4 huge boxes showed my the real efficiency of delivery options. Delivery & Return were both handled by Delhivery.com and not Amazon’s delivery and they made me cry for the Return. Once they missed when I was not at home – which is fine. Next, they came, saw the boxes and complained they did not know they were picking up these huge boxes and said would return later. The local Labour especially is hard to handle when left to themselves without a Company to monitor them and forget about wearing Masks or Sanitization during COVID times. I’ll give Delhivery.com 0 / 5 for the pathetic pickup services they offer.

The furniture installation guy who came to install the product first installed and happily waltzed out of the place. It was an hour later that I realized the fault in the product. When I notified the same to this guy, he updates Amazon in the Job card app, that the product was not yet delivered!! Then when I booked the uninstallation services to happen between 10 AM to 2 PM on a particular day, not only did they not show up but they forwarded me numbers to carpenters to call for getting the job done! Later on when I escalated the issue, their manager came down, did the job on their behalf and it was THEN that the right product status was conveyed to Amazon and ONLY then was the return initiated… I would give 1 / 5 for this Furniture Installation Services that Amazon provides in this particular venture only because the last guy did his job properly – as expected of him, as expected of them to do their job and not some maharbani that anyone was doling out to anyone.

Finally, IF your EMI gets activated, then “pre-closure” + “bank-charges” are deducted in the amount that is refunded to you. I had to lose 700 INR just for this. I don’t mind the money but Amazon does NOT automatically initiate the refund. For processed EMIs, YOU, the Consumer, will HAVE to call the Bank and get this EMI cancelled. ONLY THEN will the Refund happen – else kiss your money goodbye. The bank-charges were because I opted for a No-Interest-EMI!!!! So much for that. I’ll give this a 0 / 5 for very very very poor post sales customer support in this one particular instance.

All in all, Excellent Product – but VERY VERY VERY PATHETIC experience, especially if the companies are small furniture companies and ESPECIALLY if the Sales are conducted Online. Pathetic Experience and a Total Waste of Time & Effort.

Good product.. sturdy table but small for 6 seater.. and need to work on fit and finish
