The worst decision I made was purchasing a 1-ton inverter AC from Amazon. From that point, it’s been a nightmare. The AC was delivered with no gas, resulting in no cooling from day one. I attempted to request a replacement immediately after noticing the issue, only to find that there was no stock available for replacement within my return window. I’m left with a non-functional AC and a string of unfulfilled promises from Amazon.
The situation with Voltas made matters worse. Despite countless calls to customer service, I received only empty promises that a technician would contact me within 1-2 days. One technician confirmed that the gas might have leaked or the AC was delivered with no gas, but assured me another technician would come and fix it the very next day. This never happened.
This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I am deeply disappointed. To everyone, please don’t buy ACs from these online platforms. You might end up with the same issues, as Amazon will sell defective products and then shift the blame to the warehouse or seller. I strongly recommend visiting the nearest showroom to make your purchase instead.

I am writing this after using few months, no issues to report. Cooling and other functionalities are working good. Voltas is the best. Once again proved it.

A/c worked very well for 20 days. After that a/c cooling decreased suddenly. Made complaint at customer care. No contact from service centre for 2 days. Again called customer care. Then they gave me service centre, after calling of 25 times they attended my call. Technician came after 2 days and found gas leakage, next day technician filled nitrogen in the outdoor unit. After 2 days I contacted technician at least 20 times , no response, called service centre 30 times no answer, then again I contacted customer service then he called service centre and he said that service centre will contact you. But no call from customer service till 4 o clock. Then customer executive called me regarding contact of service centre. I said no contact. After that service centre contacted me and send technician. Now technician said that no leakage in outdoor unit, there will be a leakage in indoor unit. Summary is I have delivered a defective product and customer service is pathetic.

I recently purchased the Voltas 1 ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 4-in-1 adjustable mode is a standout feature, allowing me to tailor the cooling based on the room’s temperature and my comfort. The anti-dust filter is a bonus, keeping the air clean and fresh. Despite its compact size, the AC cools my small room quickly and quietly. The copper condenser ensures durability, and the energy efficiency is a big plus for keeping the electricity bills in check. Highly recommend this 2024 model!

Our room is around 130 sq ft.
Room cools within roughly 10mins. Almost nil noise. I got it for a price of 26729 by opting for No cost EMI via amazon ICICI CC.
What I liked?
1- Great installation from Voltas. Installation guys reached me by 3-4 days of the delivery
2- Almost zero noise heard .
3- The first free service also was done without any hassle.
What I did not like.:
– It takes quite a lot of time for initialization approx. 2 mins after which the actual cooling starts.
– There is a light indicator of circle shaped, which never turns off. This is quite annoying as it does not turn it to OFF even if we switch OFF the lamp in the remote.
– The remote has no backlight. Quite a tedious task to find the temperature value during the night.
Other points.
– Installed stabilizer for an amount of 2k
– The installation cost was around ~1700
