Just got the Havells OFR 9 Fin Heater, and if you’re on a budget, this is a solid pick. However, be patient – it doesn’t blow hot air like ceramic or blow heaters. It takes about 2 hours to make its presence felt, but once it does, the room gets cozier than the chilly outside. Day one done; I’ll update in two years!

This product can be termed with different names as oil-filled heater, oil-filled radiator, column heater or simply oil heater.
There are few reasons behind buying this:
1. It is silent to use.
2. No fear of fire or damage like normal heaters.
3. Most important is no oxygen burning which creates suffocation in the room.
4. No blowing of high speed air like “heat convectors” which makes me uneasy when sitting little far from it as the hot air gets cooled down till it reaches me.
5. Less or no maintenance cost.
6. Same power consumption.
I personally chose Havells because of its good quality products and after sales service.
About product:
1. It is 9 Fin Oil Filled Radiator.
2. It is very sturdy and beautiful to be kept in room.
3. It comes with the casters that can dismantled very easy to repack after winters.
4. It has 2 knobs (One for 3 heat settings or power settings and another one for temperature setting “thermostat”) and one power switch.
5. Power cord can be easily coiled in the front and there is a socket also to plug the plug.
6. Packing of Havells as well as of Amazon was above the mark. Too Good.
I am satisfied purchasing this product.

It doesn’t heat up the room. After running for around 1.5 hours, room temperature would be 2-3 degrees lesser than outside. And as soon as you stop it, room temperature gets chilled. It also take 2 units of electricity on medium power for every 75 mins of usage.

I am writing this review after using 40 days this product.
Product was working fine for initial 25 days. I started using this product from 10th Dec 2023
Over the period of time, we felt that heating is not up to the level. Slowly it started losing its heating capacity. By 10 jan 2024 it was not generating any heat.
I raised the complaint with Havells customer care on 10th Jan 2024. I followed up on their customer care number. Made number of calls since then but have not received any response from Havells.
Product is not working for last 4 days and Havells is not bothered about its customers.
My take on this product:
1: Havells have compromised its product quality to compete in the market
2: They service support is very poor. They will just keep you telling that service engineer will visit in next 24 hrs. But no one responds later.
3: Better to purchase Bajaj heater as they still offer better quality then Havells and have good service support.
