** First Impressions **
● The heater is around 10 inches wide & 13 inches high and is weighs nearly 3kg
● The body is in heat-resistant plastic and powder-coated steel. It feels a strong build and sturdy
● There are two filaments enclosed in a stainless steel cage
● There is a knob to turn the filaments on and there is a cut-off switch at the bottom
** Usage & Performance **
● When turned on, both the filaments gets heated up within a minute. The knob can be used to turn off one of the filaments to bring down the temperature
● I live in Kerala where the lowest temperature in my area is never below 15 degrees in the night. I bought this for my grand mother and the room gets heated up pretty quickly. She turns one of the filaments off after midnight to control the temperature. I think this heater works well for a bedroom during sub-zero temperatures as well
● The heater-body does heat up considerably after around half an hour and it is not very safe to touch when its turned on. You cannot definitely use this if there are toddlers at your home
● There is an automatic switch that turns the heater off if the heater is knocked down. This reduces the risk of fire incase the heater tips over
● There is a small handle at the back if you want to pick the heater up when its hot
● There are certain precautions to be followed to ensure your safety while using this
– Heater should always be in an upright position
– It should not be used neat wet conditions
– Power cord should never touch the heater when its turned on
– Flammable materials like clothing or paper should not be kept infront of the heater
– There has to be good clearance from the wall to provide air circulation
● This consumes 400 watts on one filament and 800 if two filaments are turned on. So, be prepared to see your energy bills going up
● Since there are no moving parts, the heater does not create any noise while working. This is the advantage I see for this over the fan heaters which are annoyingly noisy at night
● It has got one year warranty, but I think filament is considered a consumable and may not be covered
** I dont like these **
● The filaments turn red and it emits a lot of light. I find it very annoying in the night. But since this is a filament heater, this is how it works and there is no other choice
● The power cord should have got heat shielding sleeved protection. There are high chances for the cord to touch the heater body and this could potentially melt the cord
● The steel parts of the heater I got had rusted here and there; I really doubt the quality of stainless steel used
** Summary **
● I have been using this only for a week now. I have seen a few reviews that says the filaments failed after a few months. So, I will comment on the durability of the heater after using this for a few months
● I am very happy with the heating effectiveness, the build sturdiness and compactness of the heater. I paid Rs.1049 in Jun-17 and I rate FOUR stars. One star off on the points I dont like.

This heater cost a decent amount of money. However, my experience has been bad starting after around 10 days.
The heating coils are not durable enough and they stopped working after around 10 days. Further when the upper heating coil was working, there was a persistant plastic smell which is not a pleasant experience. One can ofcourse go visit the service center during the warranty period, but think about it – do you want to visit a service center during the winter months and wait for the product to be serviced and returned back to you after a certain number of days when you are facing the cold weather indoors. The coil should have been durable in the first place. With so many complaints/reviews on this heater wherein users have reported the coils stopped working after barely a couple weeks, one ponders – whether the manufacturers ran any durability tests on these products? My advice – research other heaters at a higher price point, check durability reviews of the coils/presence of plastic smell etc. before purchasing a new heater.

I am writing this review after using one year, in 1st 10 days, the upper coil didn’t work, as it was in warranty, it was replaced then again same thing happened but this time the service man came and said the coil is melted, he just stretched the coil inside and connected again, last year winter was over and in this winter the same coil again stopped working after using 7-8 days, but this time warranty period was over. So I opened it and found that, the stretched coil is melted so I stretched it again and connected, it worked. But after 8-10 days again same problem. So I fixed again by same method. Long story short, third class product from USHA. Don’t buy it.

Pros:
It can easily heat the small size room.
Work amazingly if you stand or sit front of it.
Takes least time to warm the small size room.
Does not create loud noise.
Cons :
The tubes of this product is not long lasting.
Need to stay away from the kids reach.
Need to be careful with the product.
Need to place the product away from the curtain and anything that can catch fire due to heat (specially perfumes or deo’s)
That is my review about this product.

I have using this product for 3-4year , after 3 year my one rod is not working. Maybe it fused . Overall good product 400 watt off each rod . In case of fully on it takes 800 watt.

रूम हीटर december 1/22 को लिया था। रेटिंग एवरेज थी। पहली रोड 1 महीना ही चली । लेकिन अगर आपके पास प्लास और पेचकस है तो आप उसी को खुद ही ठीक कर सकते हैं। यूट्यूब से भी हेल्प ले सकते हैं। सिर्फ 5 मिनट का काम है। ट्यूब के अंदर का एलिमेंट साइड से ओवर हीट होकर कट जाता है। You can fixed it easily . आज feb 23 है और ये सही चल रहा है कोई प्रॉबलम नहीं है। बस कपड़ो को दूर रखें। गर्म हीटर को इधर उधर ना करें । ज्यादा बड़े कमरों या हॉल में यूजफुल नही है। सिर्फ 2 मीटर की रेडियस में ही हीट करता है। रात में रजाई के पास लगाकर न सोएं।
In the end प्रोडक्ट अच्छा है but पहली रोड 1 से 2 महीने में ही कट जायेगी। हीट अच्छी है । लाइट वेट है। 4 ⭐
1 ⭐ कटा क्योंकि रोड जल्दी कट जाती है। कीमत 700 से 800 रुपए ही होनी चाहिए।
मेरा दूसरा रूम हीटर havells का 2000rs का है हेलोजन वाला वो 2 साल से सही चल रहा है । पूरी पूरी रात चलाया है कोई प्रॉबलम नहीं आई उसकी रोड में। उसमे हलोजन रोड है ये फ्लेमेंट रोड (usha)यूज करता है ।तो आप अपने हिसाब से निर्णय लें ।
