Product is good And cost effective. Keeps the room warm for longer period. Safe to use and 10 times better than any blower or halogen heaters. Plus it has two way heating one is via radiator and also with blower if strong heating requires. If a room is big than use 11 wings produce else 9 wings are sufficient. Keeps the electricity bill low. And is safe due to its structure and auto cut system.

Looks nice. Quiet and radiates the heat evenly.

The installation of wheels assembly is quite simple and obvious. However, the installation instructions can be made clearer.

I am wondering how long it will take for the paint will turn yellowish / brown with use. Maybe I should have taken the black colored radiator.

The installation and user manual need to be edited / made clearer. With reference to the manual:

    – The power switch turns on the fan at 400W.
    – Switch one is supposed to turn on 800W.
    – Switch two is supposed to turn on 1200W.
    – Both switches turned on is supposed to go to the maximum rating of 2000W.

All this implies that switch one only adds 400W on top what is already switched on as 400W when the fan started with the power button. Similarly, only switch two turned on should add only 800W on top of the 400W already turned on with the power switch. Confusing? This is not clear from the manual. Anyhow, the operation otherwise is quite straight forward 🙂

Usha brand supposedly has a good reputation, so I hope that it lasts a long time. So far it is working well, however, the fans make a lot of noise on some of these heaters (but not all, for reasons that I don’t understand.)

Functional and does a reasonable job with the following caveats:

Works best for small and hermetically sealed rooms. For a room bigger than 12*12 feet you need more power/fins.
It is heavy and a bit unwieldy and installing the wheels is not intuitive at all, even for someone who has done a fair amount of DIY projects. The instructions in the manual were not clear at all. Please keep the elderly and those with weak backs away from the installation process or even moving it around the house after installation.
I think it is worthwhile to get a model with a blower fan, even though it will fry the air. You will thank yourself for having the option on really cold days.

I won’t say this is a value for money product but if you have decided you do want a OFR, Havells and Usha are the only reasonable options currently available in India.

The heater is good and is suitable for continuous use 24X7. Heats rooms good. Have used 20 hrs on daily basis and works well. Value for money .

I bought this Usha 3809 F 2000-Watt Oil Filled Radiator after much research. It’s my first ever oil radiator. I’ve been using it all night long here in Delhi NCR where temperature has fallen to 6 degrees in December. It’s quite effective and heats up a mid-sized room (150-200 sqft) in about half an hour. The thermostat makes sure the power’s cut when optimum heating is reached. The build quality is also upto the mark. I’ve been using Usha products at home for many years now. So, considering that, I hope this lasts for many years. Worth the investment for cold Northern winters.

I got this product on 1st Jan. 2021 and started using this product for heating of our medium size bedroom (133.56 sq.ft.). A very elegant looking brand new device in creamy white colour with great ease of use and mobility (4.8), thickness (4.7) and warmth (4.3). The only issue was that each time after it was switched off, the device was giving out a “thak” sound, at times quite loud and sharp, for around half an hour at intervals of 6 to 8 minutes. So I wrote to Usha Company. On 10th Jan AN also, same issue was there and so I returned the device. Usha Company’s sms response stating my registered complaint no., name & cell no. of technician /engineer was received on 11th Jan afternoon by when it was too late.

I bought it in Dec 2020. Immediately the fan started to make noise and heating was much less than expected. Then the fan and it’s button broke down in just a month. This was still in warranty period. I tried contacting the customer care and they directed me to a third party electrician who visited my place noted the problem and left. After 1 week I got a msg that we regret my problem could not be solved and my complain has been cancelled. Somehow I managed in winters with another Havell oil heater. Again after a year I lodged the same complain and they did exactly the same thing this time too. They just take down your complain, send some electrician to your place who visits and just vanishes and then they will send a msg that your complain is cancelled. Basically usha doesn’t have any service center. They don’t intend to do any servicing work. Till warranty is on they will not do anything. After warranty they will send some guy who will suck money out of you. This is their modus operandi. Will not recommend usha oil heater to even my enemies
