Borosil, in my experience….stands for unblemished quality …..superior glass and comparatively greater durability…
Great size n depth….clear glass ….bakes well….microwaveable ….strong ….can withstand high temperature….good quality….(great for lasagne …desserts )
Just need to care for it …..allow it to cool down after baking ….clean n wash properly ….avoid steel scrubbers ….simply use a dishwash liquid and a scotchbrite sponge or scrub pad …..to easily clean it …..rinse well with water and drain well and wipe dry before storing……
When handled well …..borosil products last for years…..for me borosil is synonymous with good quality….on the downside yes …..if it slips or drops down on the floor it may shatter into a million pieces and you may have to clean a huge mess ….so definitely it needs to be handled with care other than that ….hypothetically speaking ….if a borosil product breaks i would probably say maybe its your fault …your kids fault…your maid’s fault ….your cats fault but not borosil s fault ….( speaking from experience…..in my house these things last for years )
A great addition in your bakeware / serveware collection…..reasonably priced….and looks good….on the table….
