Very well constructed for the price. Take care as handles can get hot when the braiser is used with the lid and heated for a long time. A 100% cotton dish towel works well to handle the lid or pick up when hot.

I have cooked multiple times in the pan since I received it barely a week ago. The size fits nicely into my Breville counter top oven. The heat distribution is even and the food browns nicely. Glazing is easy and it goes straight into the oven from the stove top. Altho easy to clean, it did leave some stains on the bottom of the pan, which is not a big deal for me. Love it so much especially at the special deal price that I am buying another one.

I cook alot and with high heat and these stand up to my abuse. I have 2 Tramontina pans and will not even think of trying another brand. yes, they will show scratches on the bottom surface but I would expect that the way I “abuse” them. Even though they have small scratches they are still shiny and clean up well. No issues from me! if you don’t know what brand to start with, this is a winner! and they’re heavy enough to be sturdy but no so heavy it’s like moving cast iron.

Excellent quality stainless steel vessel. Good looking. Heavy bottom, retains heat for long time. The product is quite sturdy with good finish and is easy to clean as well. Intent to buy more from Tramontina.

I have bought cheap $60 cookware sets my whole life. I have recently gotten into health eating thanks to Hello Fresh and Every Plate. I got tired of paying $12 for lunch and dinner only to have bad food. So now a I am working on cooking all my meals. After cooking on my cheap cookware I decided to upgrade. I am glad I did. This pan is awesome looking and is very well built. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, I think some of the reviewers do not know how to cook with stainless steel. If you use the water drop test and a little oil or fat it will not stick. Also it does say not to heat to high on you stove. I have cooked in it 3 times and never needed to go past a little over medium to sear. Great product with a amazing price. I also ordered the 10″ and 12″ pans and will complete the set when the pots are on sale. Do yourself a favor and buy these pans.
