My mother occasionally gets a tremor in her hand while cooking. So we tried this kadhai primarily because it has a flat base and we hoped it would be more stable on the stove as compared to woks with a curved base (they can easily tip over & cause serious accidents).
I am so happy to see my mom sooooooooo happy & satisfied with this. She keeps telling me how useful it has been for her- she uses it for cooking veggies and also for making pooris & bhaturas. The steel lid also ensures safety. The kadhai has a thick and heavy base just as she wanted.
We have washed it in dishwasher, but steel as a material isn’t that easy to clean- it requires scrubbing. I still prefer it to the convenience of non-stick cookware when weighed against their health hazards.

I have used a few Borosil products before but not their steel products so didn’t know how the quality of the kadhai wud be. However, it is an excellent product. The steel is of an excellent quality. Despite cooking on high flame, the steel on the bottom is as shiny as before, after washing. Highly recommend this and other Borosil products.

After few washes the vessel steel has turned burn in colour….not good quality of steel has been used.

The try-ply bottom is too thin and gets heated up fast and transfers the heat fast, defeating the advantage of try-ply. Disappointed and not expected such poor quality product from Borosil.

Good in the price range , but on high flames sides start to burn . That’s a downside to this product , except that everything is perfect.
