Sturdy packaging, which was a good thing, because it’s very heavy. Lid closes securely. I haven’t tested it yet, if anything stands out, I’ll update the review.

A quality casserole dish, weighty but as you would expect it to be made from cast iron. Cooks evenly and a great heat distribution within the pot, cleaning it is easy, leave in hot soapy water for a couple of hours before washing thoroughly. Well worth the money!
