i loved this kadhai.. i was searching for cast iron kadhai for long time but not satisfied with any .. i wanted a sturdy/ preseasoned/ good quality/ affordable kadhai and most of the brand do not give what they promise…finally i bought this and there was not a single reveiw on this product… so i was skeptical but when i received it i was very happy.. the cast iron kadhai is heavy and sturdy.. sits very well on the stove and the best part is that it is preseasoned very well.. but i gave it a nice wash with soap and scrubbed it to remove any layer of dust … then i seasoned it again .. then finally i used it … and its a great product… its a small kadhai enough for two people and the price is bit higher than other brands but its totally worth it .. the surface layer is a bit rough.. but thats how its supposed to be .. and its quite heavy .. overall a good product .. not cheap but totally worth the money.. go for it..

I have been using Lodge for many years now and I know how to use cast iron and I wanted a kadai for Indian cooking. Lodge wok was 8” and next size was too expensive and big as well,
So after reading reviews I went for Solimo.
In the third use it looks like the coating peeled off. What was used to make the product look ok black as compared to Lodge. Even after seasoning a particular part seems to be white as in picture.

This review is after usage. Since a check after receiving product was good in finish and heavy in weight, I presume that the quality is also good. I did check on stove to check how it works on cooking. It is very meat… I tried alu fry first. So it would tell exact state of material. It turned out to be cooked like cooking on non stick material though the surface was rough. I give 5/5 review for it’s
