The coating peeled of within 5days inspire of using wooden spatula. V surprised to find such a substandard quality from a BRAND PRESTIGE. HATS OFF TO AMAZON FOR THEIR PROMPT RESPONSEFOR RETURN PICK UP.

Rusts easily
Premkumar –
This product is better than Indus Valley cast iron products, retains natural taste and flavour of the items cooked, I strongly recommend this people who wants to use it for frying fish, as the taste of the fish fried in this pan is very good.
Senthil Kumar –
Very bad packing and the box was damaged already. It got rusted in one use itself

Comparison: The Prestige frying pan, is better than the Indus Valley frying pan. The Indus Valley company frying pan in comparison is a crude casting and is very heavy and may be shipped to you cracked and unfit for purpose. Prestige is a reputable company and that alone is worth the extra money. This is a very good casting as it is even and smooth and has no visible imperfections. The pan is also pared down in weight to an optimal weight that one can manage. Some of the pans manufactured by “other”, “off” brands are overly heavy and difficult to cook with.
