It was said to be pre-seasoned which is not true. Also even after seasoning the tawa is rusty and has a very rough and rusty coloured surface. I would not recommend this product.

Fries fishes, chicken etc very fast with little oil! Wish the handle was made of heat resistant material. Almost burnt my hand trying to hold it!
