Not as expected from a branded company. I used it once for cooking. Curry gets stuck especially when frying. And after washing it just once with soft dishwash it has started to form rust and started smelling a little rusty.

It was too big and too heavy.I saw a small and much lesser wt.But when it came it seems too heavy to handle

People have complained about the kadhai changing the colour of curry. I ignored that and bought this kadhai. Because previously I had bought wonderchef cast iron pan and it works very well till now. So I just trusted the brand and went for it.
The good things…
1. Very sturdy
2. Even heat distribution
3. All qualities of cast iron are there
4. The lid is very good and fits
The bad things…
It actually changes the colour of your curry to almost gray black… Every time you cook in this. I will tell you why. So I assumed if i take good care of the kadhai like my pan.. after a few use it might stop leachhing colour. But now I have been using it for some time… At least 20 times i have used till now…
When you start making a curry, everything is fine. But after 10 or 15 minutes of cooking itself… The top half of the kadhai starts to rust because obviously as you start cooking the oil coating will come off. But it should not rust so fast. Anyway since it starts rusting during cooking itself, it adds to the curry.
And forget about cooking it and keeping it in the kadhai till you serve. By the time you seve, the curry would look something different.
For the first few uses, the taste also changed. Now the taste is not changing, but the colour changes.
