We used to use the Hawkins cookers since I was a little boy. My mom used to say it is much safer than the Prestige cookers. There is not much improvement about this over the years. The whistle is not consistent like my old cookers

Lovely cooker. But the mast broke the instance we started cooking. Otherwise Hawkins never lets you down. Please consider a design change.

It is a nice product. Easy to use n clean. I dont know y my dish gives a burnin smell though if kept a lil longer. I have to use some kitchen king/ meat masala tp get rid of that weird smell. But otherwise it is a nice product till u exactly know when to turn off the gas.

Been using it for a few weeks. We have cooked rice, dal, chickpeas, boiled veggies and everything turned out fine. Easy to use, not too heavy, looks good and sturdy. So far happy with the product.
