We bought this on 22nd April. 2 month later, safety valve burst turning our kitchen to a pool of curry.
We checked the whistle vents, they were all clear. The cooker was less than half full. The lid properly closed.
We were making Sambhar and it didn’t whistle for 15 minutes, so I went close to check. That’s when the safety valve burst and there was a deluge of hot steam. It spoiled everything in the kitchen, the gas cooktop, the oven underneath, the stone island benchtop.
Fortunately enough, I got out of the way and there was no one else in the kitchen.
Need to full refund back. Never buying Hawkins again.

Regret During Shortest 18 Days Of Its Regular Use, Safety Valve Was Blown Out Despite Of Sufficient Evaporative Liquid (Water) Was Available Inside. To Our Surprise No Rubber Ring For Lid Safety Valve Plus Wring Spanner Was Supplied As Againdt Your Earlier Stanfarf Practice. How To Handle The Situation And Retain Back The Appliance To Use?

The handle got detached within 10 days during cooking and is not covered under warranty. Also, no door step support is provided by Hawkins. Refrain from buying this item as handle build quality is poor and high risk of cooking accident.
