Though I have two other pressure cookers bought locally, I had to buy this locally unavailable one from Amazon. Because the bottom of this cooker is ferromagnetic, i.e., it can generate heat working on the induction heating principle. The other two older can not.
The tidiness, accurate control of heating, automatic shutdown after the programmed time, and efficiency are some of the uniqueness of this combination of modern industrial heating and its application. This modified pressure cooker far exceeds its overall utility and convenience.

Hi , overall it is very good, look and feel is premium.
I am writing this review is just a safety concern I saw, the edges are little sharp.
Normal working it might not cut but seems during washing if someone hand slips or get contact with little more pressure it may get a minor cut..

It is just perfect to cook for two people. It is my second purchase of this item and I totally trust Hawkins when it comes to pressure cookers. Stainless steel cooker looks best in this contura design. So easy to clean and cook. Easy liddle movement to mix or stir. I am 110% satisfied.

This is really a high quality item. Made well, heavy duty quality construction. I can’t say enough about it. As for cooking; after reading the directions one time we have had perfect results each time and we have used it every day since the 27th of December. today is the 8th of January 2024 . My wife has been able to adjust how something cooks based on the directions and this little 1.5 liter cooker makes plenty for the two of us.
if you are looking for a pressure cooker, I highly reccomend the Hawkins brand. We are extremely satisfied.
