Bought this cooker because of all the good reviews but all soon turned into big disappointment. It stopped whistling after few use only, lid is too heavy to handle comfortably, heating is not equivalent for whole base and now cooking in it is so difficult. Wanted to change it’s gasket sealing ring thinking maybe that will help but finding that is even more difficult. Total waste of money as now we will surely have to buy another good cooker.

Great design from prestige. This cooker is quite large and can cook enough rice for about 6 people at once easily. The base is thick and the cover is so easy to handle. Works excellently.

Its not like the traditional pressure cookers. You need to put extra water for whistle to come or else food will stick and can easily be burnt.

Amazon please dont give such high rating, because which i have purchased this product. the problem with this item is, the whistle doesnt blow at the time of cooking and food getting burn, i have cooked four times and had to face same experience. worst product. please ever try this product it is complete waste of money. One of the best brand in the market, worst experience.

Good product. But the pressure lid is not always working. You have to open and close the lid sometimes more than once. I think prestige should work on this matter otherwise the product new and innovative.

Got it for my Mom – and she likes it a lot. It is a regular pressure cooker, but with a clip on lid that is easy to use. Looks very good! I like the shape and size (3.5 litres). Please note, the lid is on the heavy side. Also, this lid can be used across the series, so you can save money by not buying the cooker lid for the others Clip on bottoms.

I am really disappointed with the product. Product does not seal properly hence the steam is leaking continuously. Pressure is not built inside and one needs to guess without the whistle sound. Unfortunately I have gifted this to my relative abroad and the person is not able to use it. I am so embarrassed and never thought that this kind of product will be supplied through Amazon.

Idlies can be made and peeled vegetables like yam, colocasia etc can be boiled evenly.
Most of the times, the lid does not fit properly due to which plenty of water oozes out while preparing saambar and rice. Works perfectly when lid fits properly. Fish and vegetables cannot be fried as the bottom sticks more badly than an aluminium kadai. From now onward, I have decided to purchase only triply stainless steel products.

I cooked masoor daal and this pressure cooker did fantastic! If anybody can follow the directions of this item you can do good. This is good for 2-4 people in the household. Make sure do not overfill in the contain and water. The water should be pour atleast minimum 2 fingers above whatever you are cooking vegetables, or boiling daals. I also cooked half chicken (cut-ups small/medium pieces with 2 BIG aloos cut ups in 8 pieces pieces and came out fanastic! Very easy to close and open with click mechanisms. Just make sure clean that pressure vent for the next cooking.I even fried some small pakoras in this kadai(wok without using the pressure lid) using the glass lid which is a plus addition!! I liked the style with varities of cooking dishes with this cooker.
