If you’re used to Prestige, you can’t have any complaints with this item. Works as expected. Also good for situations which need a heavy bottomed pan, for example, caramelizing onions. It seems to be almost non-stick but it may degrade with time. Overall, I’m a highly satisfied customer but I wasn’t expecting anything different from Prestige.

Good coocker we are 2 person but i cook both my dal and chawal in this with 2 dabbas i pirchased seperately so it serves the purpose can help coocking for such 2 items for 4 5 people atleast…. other wise you can coock single item for 8 10 persons…. also in starting i had issue that it was not closing properly but now it fits perfectly so good coocker to buy for durability i am not sure as its been only 3 months but i think they are good enf and durable as per experience i had with this brand

If you are an Indian, you already know how good the prestige pressure cookers are. But if you are not, then i can tell you that these are made in india, where pressure cookers are used on a daily bases in most of the houses. And we can vouch that these cant go wrong in any way.
Earlier models had an issue of pressure bursts due to less water, but these models dont have that issue since they have the pressure valves which let go of the pressure in a safe way. This value also helps to know when the pressure in the cooker is completed gone, which really helps me.
I use this to cook my lentils, rice, meat, veggies. Really if u have this one thing, you are good to go with it to do anything dish.
And yes there is an occasional case of water coming out when it whistles, but that is because of excess water.

Worst product I ever purchased on Amazon. Got a faulty product, second time even worse it is not even locking. Going to throw in garbage. Seems very old manufactured model. First time received 2022 now received 2021. Amazon should verify the seller geniuses.

Very nice cooker, light weight, and has nice feature of pressure indicator which was not there in our old cookers.
I love this cooker. As others indicated, I am not sure how can make use of warranty if you run into issues – I guess you will have to just pray that it won’t go bad for a year or so, and then get it serviced at local presitge shop by paying for spares.

Good quality product from the trusted Indian brand Prestige. The price of this product costs more in the Prestige website. Thanks Amazon! for giving this Prestige 5 ltrs. anodized Pressure Cooker at 2549 INR. In the reviews that I have gone through some have complained about difficulty in tightening the lid of the pressure cooker. Nothing to worry about. Just press the lid of the pressure cooker downwards and rotate clockwise towards the pointed arrow. That’s it. Hope this review helps other potential customers to go for this awesome product from Prestige.
