Very good induction cook top.
Big enough and very powerful as well.
Its better than most of the other brands and safety features are also excellent. No option of pause but you can turn off and on in just a single tap!.
Everything from chappatis and currys can be made effortlessly.
Iam a bachelor and highly recommended the product!
Just make sure, not to use for long periods of time like more than a hour without giving a break.
Also dont keep the hot vessel after cooking over the top of induction for long time as it can affect the coil beneath.
The glass quality is quite good as well which makes it fragile too!
The plastic body is well and good too!
Make sure not to pour water or wipe with wet cloth immediately after cooking, this could cause the glass top crack!
Also dont keep pressure cookers with pouring liquid while cooking!

Don’t trust the brand they are pathetic, the product is not working plus the service even though under warranty they won’t come and check or service it. The worst customer service I could even experience. They are just fooling customers. I can never buy electronics online now cos I have lost my trust.

I have been using Prestige PIC 2.0 since 2011. It’s the best induction cooker ever launched in India. Recently I decided to buy a new one as a backup to the one I am already using, should a need for repair or service arise. The natural choice was the new avatar of PIC 2.0 – the Prestige PIC 2.0 V2. Prestige has added a few more presets and a dual heat sensor. Overall, it is the same old design – the same look, feel and finish. Both the versions are such marvelous and efficient devices.

I will give an illustration to explain it’s efficiency in utilization of energy. I tested boiling a steel pot full of water on a gas stove once every day. It consumed a full cylinder of LPG in two months, i.e., Rs.945 for 60 days. Boiling the same pot full of water on PIC 2.0 V2 consumed 0.5 unit of power/day, i.e., 30 units of power for 60 days or Rs. 150 for the same period. An astounding savings of Rs. 795 in two months! We can readily see that, in this case, it takes only eight months to redeem the cost of buying the induction cooker when compared to the savings in LPG consumption. In actual practice, in a household that uses LPG for the entire cooking, it takes only 4-5 months to get back the money paid for the induction cooker. Prior to switching to induction cooking, in our house, we needed a cylinder of LPG every 35 days. Now we do all our cooking on PIC 2.0/PIC 2.0 V2 and have to change the LPG cylinder only once in 15 months. LPG is used only in the event of a power failure. Even after adjusting for the increase in power bills, the average savings for us on LPG for a 15 months period is around Ten Thousand Rupees.
It is an extraordinarily wonderful product. Five stars.
