I ordered thos cooker as a replacement for another Prestige cooker that I received in defective condition and returned. This too turned out to be defective letting out steam through the gasket instead of whistling. Prestige quality seems to have really gone down. In any case, instead of returning the product again, I went to the nearest Prestige customer service centre and got it repaired free of cost.
