This seems to be a new type of cooker that Prestige has developed. By reading other reviews I was little sceptical. But turned out to be really good purchase.
After using it for more than a month my thoughts are as follows
1. Very easy to use. The locking mechanism at the top is so good that you won’t use the old cooker again.
2. Easy to clean
You don’t need anything else from a cooker.
One star goes for sending faulty cooker first time. Thanks to Amazon, I got that exchanged in no time.
Only time will tell whether this cooker will last for longer time or not. Hopefully it will

I really like the quality of the product but was unable to use the pressure cooker as it would not make any pressure even after I made sure that the steam vent was adjusted properly. I had such high expectations from this product but was very disappointed

Traditional cooker users might find this model strange, and will hopefully come to appreciate its unique features. Overall, very easy to use and very sturdy.
This model emits a base sound when releasing steam, rather than typical screeching whistle sound in traditional models. Also, bolt is easy to remove. Mercifully, no need to twist and struggle to remove lid, unlike older versions. Just placed lid and lock from outside. Love that a glass lid also provided. Yes, its a unique lid that controls messy spillage, when cooking starchy food
Just one observation: need to ensure the pressure indicator pin fits properly upwards in the lid hole, else it “leaks” steam from holes in the latch.
