One has to season it with ghee or oil and heat it really well before starting the cooking else it can be sticky and food will stick to it. The handle also heats up so be careful.

heat is not uniformly distributed. while cooking dosa or chilla the center is being heated more as such the dosa is burning in the center.

useless iron piece. not cast iron max 3 dosas only will come out , later everything stik to pan. impossible to get 4th dosa how ever we adjust heat …bakwas product

It’s very thin and too light to distribute heat evenly and it’s thermal mass is too low. It’s half as heavy as it should have been. Ends up overheating in the centre and cold at the periphery. You need constant tawa gymnastics to heat all areas evenly over the flame or risk charring the centre of the tawa. Avoid Solimo and go for more established brands. I regret buying this product.
