The cast iron tawa cracked within 2 months of use. Though we seasoned it and used it carefully. Cooking only for 1 person, no heavy use at all. Not recommended.
Requesting the seller to replace the item, but the window for return/ replacement closed ! Seller requested to replace and I will delete/ edit the review. Contact me pl

It doesn’t work in whatever way you try for dosa( if you think it is a replacement for avoiding non stick cookware)
It is ok for roti making as it supports enough heat for a roti ( consumes more gas for initial heating)
Whatever said and done it is not a convenient item for housewives in today’s hi tech cooking style as it is very heavy to handle
The handle will burn your hand completely if you touch it absent minded which we do invariably
The plastic handle sold separately for rs 200 is not machine fitted and may slip out anytime if wrongly lifted. Once if it falls in your feet especially when hot it is hell
Recommended for heavy heat required cooking traditionally ( which will generate heavy smoke smell etc) and the housewife being a gym visitor with complete focus on cooking
A dangerous but good cookware

Today I took it out for use and few mins after I put it on my stove it got cracked..
I was not expecting this after buy such an expensive product and from Indus valley. I ordered thinking to get some good quality product but very disappointed with the quality.

It is not pre-seasoned, you will need to season and remove the black coating else your dosa will turn grey. The metal needs to be more heavy. Handle without silicone cannot be touched, too hot to handle.
