This Usha Shriram idli maker is an amazing product. For long I was looking for a stainless steel utensil and found this and I am very happy with quality of this idli maker, the best part is the shape of idlis. This idli steamer comes in 4 plate set with 5 cavaties in each idli plate. You can cook 20 triangle idlis in one go. The idli cooker has gas & induction friendly base. I also, use this product as a regular steamer for the vegetable. You can also remove the plates and use this a regular cookware. It has bakelite handle for easy grip. This idly cooker can also be used to cook momos or other steam products.
This is a multi-purpose cookware and a must buy product. Also, the price is reasonable.

Bought this Usha Shriram Stainless Steel idli maker with 4 plates and I am very happy with the product. This Steel Idli steamer is a must have. This idly maker is very different from the others as you can cook big & small idlis together. As a mother this is very convenient as my daughter likes to have small idlis and not the big ones and I can cook both at the same time. The Steel plates are removable and hence can be washed easily. All in all, very good product must have. I also use this Usha Shriram Steel Idly cooker as vegetable steamer also.

Cooker is not of sturdy quality. When pressure is formed during cooking process the lid rises from one side , have to press it down again and again . Hope that no accidents happen due to blowing up of the lid . Idli sancha is okish . Its draw back is that its holes have sharp edges , which can cut the fingers while washing
