If you ignite with a utensil on burner, it causes combustion inside the burner. Makes noise. Also, the body is powder coated material, which could rust over time.

In fact the gas stove components are not of a good quality. The stove did not work on Gail gas. We have a two burner Maharaja gas stove which works on both cylinder and Gail gas.
We need a Gail gas compatibility for our cooking range. So please do the needful
