Good product

Have used for about a month. This stove ticks all the required check-boxes. In addition, the price is much lesser than the prices that are offered by offline retailers, about 7K.
1. The blue flame is a bit fast and cooks your stuff quickly.
2. Installation is a cake walk. Open the box, place the burners at their places, and connect the gas inlet pipe (use brute force so that the pipe covers a fair bit of area of the inlet hose)
3. All four burners provide good flame.
4. The color is cool; the glass top is attractive.
Long story short, buy it without any further research. I did enough. Do not waste anymore time. Hope this much information is good enough!

I am not sure if this is a QC issue by Prestige or the seller had sub-standard product. The product came in the original Prestige packing and the product looked just stunning. Used it for two days. One of the knobes was extremely tight and I was struggling with it but didn’t make a big deal out of it. Third day, while cooking, this knob (which was in ‘off’ mode randomly caught fire ( quite a big one) and so did the corresponding burner. Thank God the entire thing didn’t explode. Then fire was put out only after the cylinder was turned off. So clearly it was a leak from the gas inlet connected to this specific knob rather than some material catching fire as the fire was not put out with water. Please be careful as mine was a narrow escape.

The problem with buying such items without handling them first is the poor workmanship and poor finish of the product. Even for a reputed brand like Prestige, this is a problem. The stove burners, for example, are not mounted in alignment with each other or in alignment with the body (they are visibly mounted at an angle). The knobs stick-out a bit too much. The knobs themselves have poor feel during operation. Everything is made to the lowest cost to just meet requirements. Makes one wonder what kind of a quality control these things undergo.
Some may not notice or won’t mind such poor workmanship, but this is not really a satisfying purchase.
Otherwise everything works as expected, no problems. I’m just keeping it as I don’t want the bother of returning it. The next one could be worse.

Burner Not work properly

I bought this as a gift for my sister and she seems to be fully satisfied. We ourselves had very similar looking Prestige 4 burner glass stove from 5 years ago, except that it had auto ignition. The only problem we had with it was that the smallest flame (on simmer) is not as small on most stoves and this used to be problematic for boiling milk, as it used to spill over in a second or two giving no time to react. Once we had to call for a service engineer and as part of the visit we discussed this issue and we got the explanation was that the burners designed for autoignition have this problem because of the way they are designed to catch the spark. Since this particular model has no autoignition, I wanted to take a chance, besides my sister was too particular about getting a Prestige stove. I am glad to say that this model doesn’t have the issue we experienced with the older model and simmering works as it should.
BTW, we recently switched over to the Prestige Hob model and noticed that the simmer on the new stove works the way it should, though it also comes with autoignition, so they seem to have gotten the design right this time (they are in fact from Sabaf anyway).

Full and honest review ahead :
first of all, delivery was superfast and good. it was very well packaged and handled with care. thanks to Amazon. never disappoints.
when you open the box, do not mess with the stove’s screws and parts . keep the manual away with you and immediately call a gas technician to set up the stove. Do Not Try To Set Up The Stove By Yourself, you may ruin it. the technician will have to manually set gas pressure and knobs. and try to change your gas pipe with a new one especially if you are replacing a 2 gas burner stove with this one.
coming to the stove’s properties
pros:
• very attractive, stylish and premium look.
• big enough to have 4 utensils all at once.
• good knobs quality.
• very good quality burners and burner parts (im surprised)
• the gas pipe knob can be rotated 360 degrees which is really helpful
• high quality iron used in gas circulation, so no fear of any kind of leakage.
• best at the price range of 5000-6000.
• comes with a pan supporter and burner cleaner.
and cons ( read these carefully) :
• the glass used in the stove gets very hot in the use of 30 mins. and im not talking about just hot, im saying skin burning hot. so do not buy if you need to use the stove for more than 1 hr or it may crack and cause injuries
• even for this range, it needs a lighter to flame the burners. does not come with automatic flaming but thats not an issue for me
• you’ll have to call a technician to set it up
no other cons
and i give it 4 stars for these only because these are not ignorable
by far, i haven’t come up with any kind of leakage, damage or threat. so i’ll highly recommend this stove if you have a budget of 5000-6000.
and keep in mind, you’ll have to tolerate the smell of burning paint for 2-3 days.
Thats all
Good Luck!

One of my best purchases ever, the gas is still holding up after so many years, prestige for the win.
