I have bought several Milton bottles and thermosteel flasks over the past week. These red and yellow water bottles I bought together for their lovely colours — but after carrying the yellow bottle in my bag for just one day, the paint at the base of the bottle has started flaking off.
There was not even anything hard or sharp in my bag that might have damaged this bottle. So, this is a manufacturing defect.
This is very disappointing, because I love the colour, shape, and weight of the Milton bottles (they are very light), and they are really leakproof. But I had no idea that the bottle body paint would flake off so fast 🙁

I bought it and I got with not pretty damages but it was little damaged on the sides and after 3 or 4 days the colour started to come off and it seemed to be quite normal but after that It started to leak on the sides and now it’s completely useless value of money is not there i didn’t use it for complete one week the material is of poor quality cleanability is ok but the paints will come off quickly after one use so better not buy it
