This is a small one and good for making paneer from 1.5 ltr milk. The defect is, out of two steel plates the bottom plate needs to be more strong & the upper plate needs to be exactly same as the bottom plate without any curve or design. Paneer requires to be pressed. So how it will be pressed. Therefore, another bowl of little smaller diameter than the original should be provided. It will be an unique one if the designer wish so.

For those who enjoy making your own paneer, this mould is excellent. The maximum I have used is 2 litres of milk, which makes about 450-500 grams of paneer. The mould is just about large enough for this amount, although 1-1.5 litres of milk is more ideal. Cleaning is very simple. I also purchased some muslin cloth to place inside the mould.

The edges can be a bit smoother.
The lid is slightly smaller than the container – perhaps it is designed like that – which means to drain the whey liquid, you need to fold the filtering cloth and then put the lid and a weight on top

The holes are very big and you loose a lot of panner while straining. Now using a straining cloth inside. Other wise the steel quality is good.
