I have been looking for a knives set with a proper sturdy wooden holder and in the Amazon sale found just what I was looking for. What I didn’t expect was for it to be so very good and attractive. Looks amazing on the kitchen table top. The knives are sharp now and I hope will remain such for a long time seeing the quality and build. The wood block the knives rest on is solid and great.

I was pleasantly surprised. The set includes all the essentials, from a chef’s knife to steak knives, and each piece is well-balanced and sharp right out of the box.
The knives are comfortable to hold and very sharp, so it cuts effortlessly through various ingredients. Plus, the block is sleek and compact, fitting perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space.

The knives aren’t stainless steel, first off. They hug magnets more firmly than Modi hugs world leaders. That’s a big red flag – because they have the words “stainless steel” carved into each knife.
Sharpness wise, the knives are perfect. They slice through onions and tomatoes easier than the Aussie bowlers slicing through the Indian Test lineup (reference Adelaide 2020). The look and feel also are good, they have made my dining table much more impressive.
I am not sure how they’ll hold up against rust, given they’re not made if stainless steel. And just for that, I have rated it less. If I am spending close to 2k, I deserve stainless steel.
Edit: After 2 years of usage, happy to report that they’re holding up. Some rust spots here and there, but they get the job done. Increasing the rating by one star.

This is a very predictable product, they aren’t the nicest knives, but you’re not paying those prices, so it is fine! The knife block is good quality, and is a convenient way to store your knives. They come with a sharpening tool, so you don’t have to worry about them getting dull. Great price for this quality of product!
