There is nothing special about this knife. Although the notings on the packing says the knife does not need sharpening, the fact is, its cutting edge is blunt. It needs initial sharpening by a professional without which it does not work even on soft vegetables. Its efficacy after the initial sharpening, which is yet to be done, is not yet tested. I bought it for cutting and peeling vegetables and fruits, but I am disappointed.
