The basket is bigger than i had imagined it to be. Its big enough to hold half a water melon and few more apples/oranges together. It has taken 3/4th width of my kitchen slab and shelf. I could keep a packet of bread and a bowl of sprouts along with couple of apples and pomegranates.
The mesh seemed to be regular though, not fine than what i wanted to keep fruit flies away. Few small fruit flies still made it inside the basket. Better than the other baskets i already have.

It’s worth the amount as it’s spacious , and comes with a lid which solves the purpose of protecting the fruits from the flies

The fruit flies were driving me crazy so I got this and it’s working great for us. We tend to keep a lot of fruits at home and this is big enough to fit everything we purchase and it seems to be of good quality.
