The first item enamel coating was chipped. Ordered a replacement and as usual Amazon service was prompt in replacing it with a brand new beautiful red Dutch oven. It’s quite heavy because it’s proper cast iron. Totally worth the price. Thanks Amazon.

Before ordering I read the reviews. In one of them was written “it changed my cooking experience”. I was quite sceptical.
Yet, now that I used it myself, despite the high price, I absolutely love it. It indeed is a whole new experience. You feel you have top quality. Food cooks evenly. You can easily make large amounts of food. Pot stays warm long time after closing fire. Easy to clean. If you wonder what to make in it, go to YouTube and search for Dutch oven casserole recipes. The possibilities are endless. Even bread can be made it it. It is the best cooking pot I ever worked with.

sturdy, enameled, dutch oven good for slow cooking and long usage. very good quality iron and no chipping seen in 3 months of usage. Need to follow instructions given for proper care and longevity.

I’ve been using this dutch oven for couple of weeks now it’s really nice to make slow cooking meals. I made indian gravies and biriyani with this. It is just the perfect product to make biriyani it retains all the heat in after closing the lid and perfectly and evenly cooks the rice. The only thing is to use it in low flame to medium flame otherwise it slightly get burned but the cleaning process is not complicated at all. Loving this product.

Had bought it to make my sourdough bread! It always burns the bottom! After repeated failed/burnt breads, I bought a Borosil glass casserole (at one-third the price) and that gives me better results! I feel really cheated! Please don’t buy this Solimo!

This product is always out of stock and one day I saw this for 2400 on a lighting deal I just grabbed it. Quality is very good and is a must have for a family it or a bachelor as a all in one vessel. This can be used to bake cake, make good dum biriyani and for any other normal cooking activity. Only problem is that it’s heavy, but that’s already a given since it says it is a cast iron material. Just take care of it and it’ll last for generations.
