It’s easy to handle. Decoction gets ready in seconds. Morning coffee, a whole day’s energy
Amit –
1. 500ml capacity! I did not find it apt for 2 ppl.
2. The coffee powder place is on the jar not on the machine! You lift the coffee powder area and pour the coffee. You will have to left coffee in the second compartment drip on the kitchen slab. Mess.
3. Double mess. Somehow it doesn’t work. It slows down the coffee making process hell lot, the coffee is in the jar waiting for more to drip (extremely slowly) with heating from below. Making the coffee taste detoriorate.
4. After using for a month or more, I realised its limitations are way lot to be paid anything more than 1k. You get great drip coffee machine from wonderchef (for example) at 2.5k
5. Overall it’s usability, looks , value for money all are super zero. I am just throwing it away and buying a convenient one.

I use 2 heaped teaspoons of coffee to get 500 ml of piping hot strong coffee in under 5 minutes. Filters and the steel jug are easy to clean. Very happy with performance.
The jug handle – on the right hand side bottom end is not finished properly. The chromed part is not seated into the black plastic handle fully and has a rough edge. Could have been attended to. Other than that – very good product for coffee lovers.
After using the product for a few weeks, I have to dd the following:
1. Decoction quality and time – no complaint what-so-ever. Am enjoying the flavour and strength of the decoction.
2. The polished heater plate gets scratched. No sure it it is metal or plastic or mirrored glass. Either way, scratches should not form. I have a scratched ring on the plate.
3. It could be on account of the filter having a flat base (other coffee makers have a conical filter), quite often, the decoction tends to collect and form a pool on the net of the 2nd filter (the larger one) One has to tilt the filter this way and that for all the decoction to drain out.

No instruction manual with supply. The usage instructions on the box should be more clear.

I have been using this same coffee maker for definitely a decade now and this was the first time the unit gave out not because of electrical failure but because of the wear and tear of one of the parts. So I buy this coffe maker for my daily filter coffee fix with complete confidence that I will continue to do so for the next decade and more. Kudos to the company for an excellent product and thank you to Amazon to making it available to me directly to my home this time around.
