After normal usage of about 6-8 months the bottom of chopping bowl is seen getting scraped by the spindle, and for this the service personnel added a few rings to the attachment. This increased the height of spindle and now the lid is having cracks emerging from the centre where the spindle fits. Also now the plastic stick in the handle of the jar broke which is the jar locking mechanism, so now it’s not working. Feeling really sad that Philips is giving out such low quality products.
So overall it’s a cheap quality product.

Amazon delivered the product so quick that most websites are not having delivery to the place we order the product.
We used this food processor for about 10 days now. It is very good, the basic need was to make dough from corn to make particular snacks. But now FP is the hero of kitchen, cutting onions, grating carrots, slicing veggies….it makes so many boring steps of cooking easy..it is very easy to wash..it is compact..good looking design…quiet…i was doubting when reading reviews if those written by some dealers or something. ..i bought this product with doubts because i saw some FP costing like rs18000 of Kenstar, my wife was using Oster model outside india and it is not available in india….so i never understand why this is costing only 3000 something and commented like the best…what will be the difference btwn costly models and this….finally i gave a try….but this turned out to be the best because it can do the job neatly very fast for a normal kitchen…..without any troubles and very easy to clean and keep…..plastic looks reliable and blades too looks good…very sharp too….overall till now we are very satisfied with product…..

Tried following and found very useful/time saving/happy abt it:
—-Atta kneading (Less than 2 min), One full dry coconut grating(~2min, result better than hand grating), Cabbage(using slicer 2 min), 2 big onion chopping 30secs(Machine is very fast, you need to be in control to stop asap in order to get desired sized cut)
    Not happy with:
—-slicing: Carrot/Cucumber get sliced very thin! No variable control on slicing thickness in disk OR May be I don’t know how to do it.
—-If you want juicer, buy HR7628 or later model.
    —-No tools for Citrus juicing
Quality: Plastic good, Look good, Sound okay, as everything gets over less than 3min, very safe as machine starts only after lock
General: You also needs to change the cooking procedure and not stick to old/previous method. If you expect the machine to help exactly the way you were working before, Then you will end up keeping this in showcase forever! Spend some time, experiment and learn, Then this can help a lot. See youtube for each function and get tips.
Basic rule: Clean immediately after use, otherwise it is big burden

I bought this after a long search . .Like all food processors, this fulfills all basic needs. Like shredding , slicing and fine chopping. Blades are of excellent quality , extremely sharp. The body of the processor is light weight and safe ( without fitting it properly the motor won’t run) . Within seconds everything is done. Only drawback is that, small pieces of the veggies are left as they get stuck above the blades. But tats hardly anythin. It can be chopped manually as it’s one or two pieces. This feature makes the top cover and pusher last longer , so that they don’t get grated or damaged . Overall Philips lives up to the brand name. Worth the money.

I really liked this product. I basically bought this for atta kneading, and I am using it to the fullest. Initially the atta kneading was a mess and i thought i wasted my money, but when i got the right measurement and knack to use it, just loved the product. The container is almost clean when the dough is bound into a ball.
Secondly, i love the chopper. The kitchen prep time is not in minutes, but in seconds!
The only thing i am not very happy about is the scraper. The distance between the blade and the pusher is very high, due to which, a large amount of vegetable (or whatever you want to scrape), is left out not scraped.
All in all, love the product.
Note: Use 2 cups of atta and 1 cup of water (or a little less, as convenient). Switch on bade first, when the dry atta is rotating, slowly add water with a constant speed. Do not still in between. Immediately add 2 tea spoon of oil. Allow it to kneed well. Hope this helps.

Best quality blades in the Indian market today. Braun had very sharp blades too, way back in 1999 when I bought my first mixer. Sadly they no longer seem to market their mixers and food processors here in India. So opted for this Phillips one. It’s probably the same model as is being sold in other parts of the world. The quality of the processing bowl’s plastic seems okay, hopefully won’t break/crack with regular use. You get a fine slicer and fine grater which give excellent results. Saw some demos for other brands on youtube and the slices were very uneven. Have not yet used the dough and whipping blades, though I feel confident that these will work well too, keeping in line with the overall results that the machine delivers.

It would be of great value if Phillips could sell optional blade attachments for a thicker slicer, thicker grater, chipper, dry grinding attachment (which the Phillips website says one can buy as an optional accessory in some countries- but I can’t seem to find if this is available in India). I plan to carry along the plastic disc into which the blades are fitted and the central spindle on which the chopper blade sits, with me when I travel abroad in the hopes of finding additional blades that Phillips might be selling in other countries. Would be so much better for Phillips to develop these blades (can’t be too difficult), and sell them as optional extras directly to customers.

Overall a great product, probably gives the best results of the products available here in India currently. It works well as an add on to the regular 3 jar mixer grinder that is commonly available here.
