Reviewing after 4 years of very extensive use and I am writing this review after being impressed by the service. This is a very useful and capable food processor. The food processor has been used with great care though.
This food processor is being used every day. The attachment used almost every day are blender and the processor. Using it for tasks like, kneading dough, making purees and gravies & making shakes etc.
With time, the plastic jars have started to show aging but I believe that it was worth buying. I would recommend it and will definitely buy from Philips again when the existing one dies off.
Philips’ after sales is just awesome, I have had minor issues a couple of times but everytime resolved within a day.
One tip is, don’t run continuously for long durations and let it cool a bit between use.

I have owned a Glen Food Processor for past 9 years, since it started falling off I wanted to go for another processor, seeing the videos on youtube I was impressed with KitchenAid but the price of replacements were a big concern, however with half a heart I ordered for this product and I was mighty surprised the very first day itself… This machine is completely undervalued, it does all the jobs that the youtube showed that Cuisanart and KitchenAid did.
    Pros:
    1. Making any kind of dough is a breeze, no oil required, just watch for the color change in flour when you are adding water, stop the minute the color changes, and perfect dough every time.
    2. Vegetables slice beautifully.
    3. Chopped one inch garlic and 6 cloves of garlic into tiny pieces.
    4. Parts are such that food does not lodge anywhere and does not have any difficult to clean places.
    5. Design is sleek, no unnecessary crevices.
    6. Locking mechanism is smooth, locks with a click.

    Cons:
    1. Addition attachments not available.

Having owned another machine with several attachments, and having experienced how cumbersome these attachments can be, I really appreciate this simple yet hardworking machine.

Using for 6 months now, it is awesome in functioning.
Great for chopping onions. Good to have the Pulse knob to determine if the size of chopped onion piece is suitable, else it will end up chopping too fine.
Shredder is too good. Making carrot halwa is a breeze now. Have tried shredding carrots, beetroots and cabbage. (If the size of shredded piece is a bit lengthy, it is good to use the chopper on Pulse mode to shorten the length if desired). Can shred a kilo of carrot in just a few minutes which is incredible! The slicer comes in handy too.
Kneads atta in hardly couple of minutes. Initially, need to add water little by little so as to get used to making atta in this processor and avoid ending up with sticky dough. Saves a lot of time and energy.
Overall, a great buy and an invaluable kitchen tool in everyday life.

I had purchased Philips food processor in 2011.Since that one has worn out, I wanted to buy another one for my daily needs. This functions well but the capacity of jars/containers is less than the previous model. Also this seems less sturdy. But eases out daily tasks like grating, chopping onions or blending smoothies/shakes.However I am still not able to knead dough in this one.

Suits well for a family of 4 to 5..
Does Slicing of onions carrot cocumber tomato tinda excellent..the thickness is 2.4mm disk which comes by default..
The default disk not suitable for bhendi ladies finger tori which you generally expect to be of thicker slices.. may be 4 to 5 mm..
Does the dough nicely.. with contrillled water input.. excessive water will make the dough stick to container no matter how much oil you add to container walls..
Citrus juicer is excellent with oranges.. 🙂
We even tried slicing disk with green leaves and worked..see pics..
It has pulse control as well. You can do the mincing of meat with the pulse control to manager the size of mincing..
The s blade just works fine for mincing…

  6. QuantumPulse

Less noisy machine with optimum performance. At this price it lacks the blades for fine shredding/slicing and fries cutter. Quality is mediocre as per price range but serves the purpose who just wants to use it for chopping, shredding, slicing, kneading, blending, and whipping.

Please do not purchase if you are looking out for smooth wet and dry grinding as this model is not made for that purpose.

    Best food processor.
The only regret is fewer jars compared to the normal ones.
    Go for it definitely.

    Update on 09/01/2021:
The blender jar leaks a lot.
The leakage comes through the main motor unit vents.
I’m about to register a complaint with the customer service and will update after talking to them.

    Update on 14/01/2021:
The customer service was prompt and handled the issue very efficiently.
Initially, they were going to charge me for the replacement part i.e the blender jar coupler, but I told them it was a manufacturing defect, so they changed it for free, only because it was the first time.
The complete replacement blender jar was for 750₹, but due to my argument they changed the coupler only for free.

    Update on 29/03/2021:
The blender is horrible and has started leaking again. It even leaks underside, where the air vents are placed for the main motor.
It has started making loud noises, and I think the price is not justifiable for the quality provided.

P.S.: I think, the quality of the jars is not up to international standards, although this unit is an imported one.
